Parent Coaching

Parenting can feel hard. You don't have to figure it out alone.

Parent coaching offers practical, relationship-centered support for parents who want to better understand their child, respond to challenging behaviors, and feel more confident in their parenting.

Rather than focusing on diagnosing or treating your child, parent coaching focuses on you as the parent, helping you make sense of what may be happening beneath your child's behavior and giving you strategies that fit your child, your relationship, and your family.

Whether you're navigating big emotions, anxiety, behavioral challenges, ADHD, transitions, sibling conflict, or simply feeling unsure about how to respond, we'll work together to help you feel more grounded and connected in your parenting.

Parent Coaching May Be a Good Fit If...

  • You feel like you've tried everything and nothing seems to work.

  • Your child's big emotions or behaviors are overwhelming the family.

  • You and your child seem stuck in the same frustrating patterns.

  • You're unsure whether you're being too strict, too permissive—or somehow both.

  • Your child struggles with anxiety, transitions, separation, attention, or emotional regulation.

  • You want practical tools without losing connection with your child.

  • Your child isn't ready for therapy, doesn't need individual therapy, or you'd like support for yourself first.

Connection Before Correction

We don't believe parenting support should simply be about getting children to behave.

We'll start by getting to know your family, your child's temperament and needs, what's been difficult, and what you've already tried. From there, sessions are tailored to what's happening in your family right now.

Your coach may help you understand the needs underneath a behavior, identify patterns between you and your child, practice different ways of responding, and develop concrete strategies to try at home. You'll have space to ask questions, problem-solve difficult moments, and adjust your approach as you learn more about what works for your family.

Parent Coaching vs. Therapy

Parent coaching is a parent-focused service and does not enroll your child as a therapy client. Coaching focuses on parenting strategies, understanding your child's behavior and development, and strengthening the parent-child relationship. It is not a substitute for individual mental health treatment when a child or parent needs clinical therapy.

You know your child. We'll help you understand what happens next.

Parenting doesn't come with a roadmap. Sometimes having someone alongside you can make all the difference.
