Mary Cascarelli is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who graduated from Wayne State University with a Master’s in Social Work and a dual title in Infant Mental Health. Mary brings a well-rounded background of experience working in daycares, classrooms, and home-based settings, supporting individuals from infancy through adulthood. Her goal is to create a safe, supportive, and comfortable space where clients feel empowered to explore their stories and move toward growth, flexibility, and healing.
Mary provides holistic, person-centered, and client-focused psychotherapy, tailoring her approach to meet each individual’s unique needs. She supports clients navigating a range of concerns including trauma and post-traumatic stress, life transitions, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, parenting, and early childhood development. Mary takes a trauma-informed approach to care, helping clients process difficult experiences at their own pace while building safety, resilience, and self-understanding.
With an additional background in Comparative Cultures and Politics, Mary thoughtfully integrates cultural awareness and identity into her work, honoring each client’s lived experience and the systems that shape it. Mary believes that with the right support, insight, and tools, every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and find meaning in their life.
