Amanda Rose-Horne

Amanda is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with vast background of experience working with women, children and families in different capacities. Amanda provides holistic, relational psychotherapy to support individuals through major life transitions, parenting struggles, grief and loss experiences, perinatal mood challenges and those living with post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety or bipolar. Amanda enjoys working with families and believes the transition to parenthood is a sacred time in life where parents and infants should be given good care and mental health support. She has additional expertise working with children who have experienced trauma including children who are chronically ill and healing from medical trauma. Amanda uses a variety of play therapy techniques to support children by enhancing attachment, bonding and trust with caregivers. She believes in the power of therapeutic parenting of foster and adoptive children. Amanda works collaboratively with each individual, couple or parent-child dyad who seeks her services with an underlying philosophy of increasing freedom and peace in daily living.
