Monica Laming

Monica Laming is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a dual master’s degree in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Michigan. Monica has a background of working clinically with young children and their families utilizing a relational and attachment framework.  After working both clinically within the field and publishing research on Infant Mental Health interventions, Monica became endorsed as an Infant Mental Health Specialist and received specialized training in treatment of perinatal mood disorders and play therapy interventions. Monica has been using her unique scope of practice to support women and young families in the Livingston County area.  In 2018 Monica opened up the ECI program in hopes of creating an innovative mental health treatment program specifically designed to support the unique challenges and difficulties facing women, children and young families.  In addition to working with families, ECI also works to support local clinicians in the community as Monica has a prominent role in providing supervision and guidance to clinicians with an interest in Infant Mental Health and maternal mental health fields.
